Sydney Deck Sealing was founded in 2013 (originally under the name “Sydney Clear Coatings”) by Chris Ellard, a Master Shipwright with long and in depth experience in the marine industry building timber yachts and motor boats. Through the 15 years he ran his own boat building company, Chris developed a deep expertise in marine grade coatings and timber protection techniques.
He brought that specialist knowledge to residential and commercial decking and other outdoor timber structures developing refined sealing and maintenance systems that deliver premium, long-lasting results for timber exposed to Australia’s varied climate.
Every member of our team, all full-time, directly employed staff, never contractors, is personally trained by Chris using these proven systems. He regularly assesses their work and maintains high performance standards to ensure every job meets our motto and promise to you:
